For more than 10 years, we have believed in the need to reflect on the role our company plays in fostering a more just and responsible society. As you know, we work to promote a circular economy in professional technology, and each year we prevent the generation of an average of 15 metric tons of electronic waste.
In addition, we regularly reflect on our actions and get involved in projects that contribute to a better society, and we’d like to share them with you as 2021 comes to a close.
These are the actions we have taken this year based on our professional ethics and the social benefits they provide. Thank you for being part of the change.
NGO EXTRAORDINARY PROJECTS
We have partnered with the NGO Proyectosextraordinarios.org to create 50 bags made from recycled materials by women in vulnerable situations. This product is the result of the circular economy; it is sustainable and supports social entrepreneurship projects aimed at creating a more just society. This makes it clear that, regardless of whether technology is involved or not, working toward the circular economy and the reuse of resources means working toward a more just society.

FOUNDATION IN YOUR WOMB
We have helped create this comic you’re holding to raise awareness and show our full support for women who are suffering, have suffered, or are living with the harsh reality of this disease, as well as for all those close to them. It features contributions from leading medical experts and renowned illustrators to fund breast cancer research, with all proceeds going toward that cause.

NGO TRAINING SENEGAL
A while back, we traveled to Senegal with the NGO Formación Senegal to participate in a major donation of technological devices that would facilitate access to information for the people living there. We are in the process of establishing a school in collaboration with the NGO DreamIT to provide opportunities for education in a more just world. To this end, we have provided all the necessary electrical and communications equipment to bring computers to the schools in Ndeur Diop and Darou Marnane.
These donations contribute to a more equitable development of Senegalese society.
BOSQUIA CSR
For our recent 10th anniversary, we decided to offset our carbon footprint a little by planting and sponsoring 50 trees in deforested areas. This reaffirms our commitment to the environment and not only prevents waste but also improves living conditions for all of us by offsetting approximately 5 metric tons of CO2.
By planting and maintaining this small forest, we help offset part of the carbon footprint associated with our activities and also raise awareness throughout society.
If you'd like to learn more about how refurbished technology can benefit your project and the planet, or about our efforts to improve society and the initiatives we have planned for 2022, please contact us.
