Arpers 1000BASE-BX SFP, 1490nm TX/1310nm RX, 10km Cisco Compatible
Ref: GLC-BX-D-COM
Arpers 1000BASE-BX SFP transceiver for Gigabit Ethernet links up to 10km. Compatible with Cisco equipment.
| Tipo: NIB |
Functionality and compatibility
The GLC-BX-D-COM model is an Arpers-compatible SFP transceiver, optimized for Gigabit Ethernet networks using 1000BASE-BX technology. It emits at 1490 nm and receives at 1310 nm through single-mode fiber, reaching distances of up to 10 km. It is designed to be used in conjunction with the 1310nm TX add-on module (GLC-BX-U-COM), forming efficient bidirectional links in infrastructures using a single fiber. It is fully compatible with Cisco switches and routers that accept 1000BASE-BX SFP modules.
Physical and technical characteristics
Built with a metal casing for optimal electromagnetic resistance and thermal dissipation. It uses LC simplex connector, DFB laser technology and supports digital diagnostic monitoring (DDM). The SFP interface is hot-swappable, allowing it to be replaced without disrupting system operation. Complies with the IEEE 802.3ah standard for bidirectional fiber links. Ideal for metro, enterprise and campus network deployments.
